Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
By using this website and the Dalmeny Resort Hotels online booking service you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions detailed below which form the basis of your contract with Dalmeny Resort Hotels. In the Terms & Conditions set out below, “you” and “your” refer to all persons named on the booking, which includes any individual(s) subsequently added or substituted at a later date. “We”, “us” and “our” all refer to Dalmeny Resort Hotels. Please print and retain a copy of this Agreement for your records as it may occasionally be updated.
1. Making a booking
By making a booking, you confirm that you have the authority to do so on behalf of everyone included in the reservation and that all guests named on the booking agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions.
Once your booking has been processed, a confirmation will be sent to the email address you have provided or by post where applicable. All bookings are subject to the availability of accommodation at the hotel.
Please check your booking confirmation carefully when you receive it. If any of the details are incorrect or incomplete, you should contact the hotel’s Central Reservations team as soon as possible. We will make every effort to correct any errors or make any amendments requested.
We cannot accept responsibility for any inaccuracies that are not reported within five days of your booking confirmation being issued, or for any incorrect information supplied at the time of booking.
2. Paying for your booking
All bookings must be secured with a valid credit or debit card. In some cases, full payment may be required at the time the booking is made. Any payment requirements will be advised during the booking process.
The card used to guarantee the booking must be presented when checking in at the hotel.
Unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing with Dalmeny Resort Hotel, the full balance of your stay must be paid on departure. However, we reserve the right to request full payment on arrival where considered necessary.
Unless specifically included within your booking, the cost of additional items and services, including but not limited to telephone calls, food, drinks, room service, minibar items and travel expenses, is not included in the price of your stay.
Any additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled in full before you leave the hotel.
3. Price changes
Dalmeny Resort Hotel reserves the right to increase or reduce the price of any accommodation or packages that remain unsold at any time.
The price of your booking will be confirmed when your reservation is made and, except where a genuine pricing error has occurred, this price will not be increased once your booking has been confirmed.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our prices are accurate, mistakes can occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors as soon as they are identified.
If a pricing error affects your booking, we will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of the correct price. We recommend that you check the details and total cost of your booking carefully before confirming your reservation.
4. Amendments to your booking
If you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking, please contact the hotel by telephone or in writing as soon as possible.
All amendment requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Changes requested within the 48-hour cancellation period may be treated as a cancellation and could be subject to the applicable cancellation charges.
5. Cancellations
To avoid cancellation or non-arrival charges, bookings must be cancelled by 3.00 pm, two days prior to your arrival date (48 hours’ notice), unless alternative terms apply to your booking.
This also applies to any pre-booked supplementary items, including activities, treatments or tickets.
If a booking is cancelled after the cancellation deadline, or in the event of a non-arrival, the cost of the first night’s accommodation package will be charged to the credit or debit card used to secure the booking.
Where a deposit, full payment or payment for additional items such as theatre tickets, beauty treatments or leisure activities has been made, these may be non-refundable. Please check with the hotel at the time of cancellation.
Separate terms and conditions may apply to bookings of three or more rooms and to group bookings of eight or more guests. Please contact our Central Reservations team for full details.
6. Cancellations and changes made by Dalmeny Resort Hotel
In the unlikely event that we are unable to honour your confirmed booking, we may offer you alternative accommodation of an equal or higher standard. If this is not possible, we will refund any monies paid and, where appropriate, offer a discount towards a future stay. We will also make every reasonable effort to assist you with alternative arrangements.
If we need to make any significant changes to your booking or cancel your stay, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you a suitable alternative or a full refund. This does not apply to minor changes or to circumstances beyond our reasonable control that may affect your stay.
Where a booking has been made through a third-party agent, we will do our best to assist with relocation if required but cannot accept responsibility for the booking itself.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking if you fail to comply with these Booking Terms & Conditions and cannot accept liability for any costs or losses arising from such cancellation.
If you or any member of your party behaves in a manner that causes, or is likely to cause, distress, danger or disruption to other guests, staff or hotel property, we reserve the right to end your stay and ask the individual(s) concerned to leave the hotel immediately. In these circumstances, no refund or compensation will be given, and we will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result.
7. Additional Requests
If you have any special or additional requests, please let us know at the time of booking or as early as possible before your arrival.
Whilst we will do our best to accommodate all requests, they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. To avoid disappointment, we recommend giving us as much notice as possible so that we can make every effort to meet your requirements.
8. Third-party suppliers
Your stay may include services provided by third-party suppliers, such as beauty treatments, golf, bicycle hire or other leisure activities. These suppliers will usually have their own Terms & Conditions which apply to the services they provide.
If your booking includes any third-party services, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with the relevant Terms & Conditions as soon as your booking has been confirmed.
9. Medical condition
If you or anyone included in your booking has a medical condition, disability or any specific requirements that may affect your stay, please let our Reservations Department know at the time of booking or contact us through the enquiry form on our website.
This will allow us to make every reasonable effort to accommodate your requirements or advise you if we are unable to do so.
If we are not informed of any specific requirements before your arrival and are unable to provide suitable accommodation or facilities, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

If payment is not made, you may be held responsible for any claims arising from the damage, together with any associated legal costs.
